Durozone by Duro Dyne, the largest, most trusted name in sheet metal tools and products.  NSPRD-024 8  (eight)  inch round damper with 24volts AC, Spring return, and easily convertible to Normally open or Normally closed in the field.  Works in virtually any zone control or thermostat application!  Comes complete with  Nylon Dnya-ties for connecting flexible type ducting to dampers.
One of the oldest and most proven designs in the motorized damper business, the Durozone NSPRD024  damper is an outstanding value, and features a quality spring return motor with a 5 year warranty-Best in the business!  The Spring is internal to the motor, and not cheaply mounted on the blade, and therefor places no stress on blade, bushings and drive line.

Versatile! Most spring return dampers cannot be converted from "normally open" to "normally closed" (also called power open and power closed, and it can be confusing). but this one can! Why is field conversion important?  First, you cannot possible order the wrong type.  Second, if you control this damper with just a thermostat (see below) you most likely will want it "normally closed". But later, if you upgrade to a full zone control system,  you will most likely want a "Normally Open" damper-why get stuck with the wrong type?  In fact, with either application, you may want either configuration, and the Durozone NSPRD0-24 series gives you the option.

What you need to control this damper for a zone control system:  Convert damper to "Normally Open" (easy to do!) and use it, this damper is compatible with any 24vac zone control system, any brand! Many two wire spring return dampers cannot be converted from "normally open" to "normally closed".
