    Description

    Thailand short sword with a stainless curved blade and a wood handle. Blade length is 9 7/8" with correct "eyelash" stampings. Most of these swords do not have guards, especially with a couple of sunflower stamps. The wood handle is 6 3/8" with a 7/8" brass collar bellow the handle. The wooden scabbard has a split along the length of the under belly and the pointed tip has a chip missing. Overall this sword is very solid with only a minor movement in the guard.  Despite the split it is very sturdy and tightly holds the blade. Could be glued if so desired. These swords were popular trinkets pick up by Troops in Thailand while on leave from Vietnam. Please view all pictures for quality and condition.
